BCL worked with Galliford Try to construct a new car park at the Preston railway station to revitalise car park facilities for passengers on the West Coast main line.
The 750-space multi-storey structure consists of a pre-cast/in situ concrete composite deck with aluminium and galvanised grating cladding, and aluminium glazed curtain walling.
The new larger car park was necessary to cope with greater passenger numbers anticipated on the West Coast mainline as the number of services increases.
Completion of all drainage, groundworks, pile caps, retaining wall and floor slabs to a sensitive city centre site in terms of deliveries, space and location.
